Driven by the invisibility of LGBTQ+’s in Japan, successful fashion-photographer Leslie Kee portrays ten thousand LGBTQ+’s in Japan with his project “Out in Japan”.

Filmmaker Ayumi Nakagawa follows him during this process and highlights the life of four people who participate in this photo-shoot: a lesbian couple who have their first child, a gay university professor who fights against the discrimination of HIV-positives and a trans-man whose partner committed suicide.
