Andrea Voets is the world’s only ‘musical journalist’.

As the artistic director of Resonate Productions, Andrea Voets combines in-depth, social journalism with tailor-made music into podcasts & documentary-concerts. In doing so, she brings to light ’emotional blind spots’ in society and offers ways out of the complex problems they bring about. Since 2018, she works from De Balie in Amsterdam, which resulted in the documentary-concerts Wings & Roots -shaping identity between cultures- (2018) & While We Live -a compass to connection- (2020, ‘best of classical music’ by NRC). 2022 brings the launch of the podcast Millennial History (in partnership with AreWeEurope) & the start of her worldwide search into the question ‘how to feel safe’, funded by the prestigious FastForward-grant. Andrea studied harp & philosophy in Berlin & Amsterdam and divides her time between the Low Countries, Germany & Greece.
