Merel Arnoldus

Merel Arnoldus is an Amsterdam-based photographer inspired by travel, design, interior and all things coastal. 

Driven by the pioneers of film photography, Merel began documenting her travels around the world at her early 20s. Fast forward 10 years, she still uses a prime 35mm lens, keeping it simple and natural. This lens captures the view like a human eye, its like capturing a memory forever.

Her body of work forms naturally as she seeks to find unscripted moments. ‘’The look in someone’s eye, the scene, or color of the sky should be telling the story, not the photographer.’’
