Ook dit jaar is De Balie weer trotse partner van IDFA, het grootste documentairefestival ter wereld. Tien dagen lang is ons programma gevuld, van ‘s ochtends vroeg tot ‘s avonds laat, met (inter)nationale premières en competities, nieuwe vertelvormen, een concert, films van debutanten en veel internationale gasten.
IDFA selecteert films die de unieke visie van een filmmaker op een artistieke en cinematografische wijze tot leven brengen. De Balie biedt verdieping, want in onze zaal gaat het gesprek verder zodra het doek valt.
Onze redacteuren komen ten toneel om, samen met jouw favoriete makers en personages, de maatschappelijke thema’s te ontknopen. De intieme gesprekken in de zaal worden gevolgd door een drankje aan de bar. We kijken ernaar uit.
