However, we are unable to check whether visitors are older than 16. Cookies are small text files that are saved on your computer, tablet or smartphone the first time you visit this website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the website and for your ease of use. They ensure that the website functions properly and help remember your preferred settings, among others. Cookies also allow us to optimise our website. You have the right to inspect, correct or remove your personal data, as well as the right to retract any permission you may have given for the processing of your personal data and the right to object against the processing of your personal data by De Balie. You also have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to De Balie to have the data that we possess about you sent to you or to an organisation specified by you, in the form of a computer file.

Requests to inspect, correct, remove or transfer your personal data, or to retract your permission for or to object to the processing of your personal data, may be sent to communicatie@debalie.nl.
We will respond to your request as soon as possible, within four weeks maximum.

If the subject of your request is a De Balie account on the website, you can personally change your data or terminate your account via your account.

After an account is terminated, the account’s order history remains stored in the database for administrative purposes. However, this information is anonymised and cannot be traced to a specific person. The actual personal data are immediately erased from the active database.
