During a 4-day Eurolab photographer Wolfgang Tillmans and architects Rem Koolhaas & Stephan Petermann, together with a group of artists and creatives from all over Europe, have gone on a 4-day fact-finding mission what has gone wrong in the last 25 years of communicating Europe and how to make a new start. During the last day of the Forum on European Culture they will share the outcomes and present a comprehensive toolbox of ideas, visuals and strategies that can be used to communicate the EU in times of rising nationalism, populism and the growing support of far-right parties. How can we rebrand the EU?

The Eurolab, an initiative of Forum on European Culture & initiators Wolfgang Tillmans, Rem Koolhaas and Stephan Petermann, takes place during the second edition of the Forum on European Culture in Amsterdam. During a 4-day programme of workshops and interviews sessions they explore new ideas to communicate the EU in the run-up to the European elections in May 2019.

This programme is a part of the second edition of the Forum on European Culture: “Act for Democracy!”. At a time when the future of Europe is more uncertain than ever before, we bring together leading and inspiring artists, thinkers, economists and politicians during a 4-day interdisciplinary programme to discuss Europe and its future. More information: www.cultureforum.eu
