Meet Ayşe Draz (theatre), Anna Zizlsperger (contemporary visual arts) and Chantal Hamelinck (literature) for a reflection on the biggest changes in their field of expertise and exchange thoughts and ideas on current opportunities. Before this panel discussion takes place, Teike Asselbergs (founder Connetistanbul and co-editor of the Mapping Turkey) and Quirine van der Hoeven (cultural attaché for the Netherlands in Turkey) will be interviewed on the goals behind the mappings and the biggest changes in it.

This cultural mapping is a high quality collection of information meant for anyone with ambitions to work with or in Turkey. The original mappings were created in 2011 as a precursor for the Dutch-Turkish celebration year in 2012. Seven years later the interest in working with Turkey hasn’t diminished. To keep this exchange alive, fourteen authors collaborated to create an up to date field guide of arts and culture in Turkey. Each chapter focuses on a different discipline and provides you with a short history, current trends and the most important organizations and individuals in the field. The mapped disciplines are theatre, graphic design, 3D design, heritage, contemporary visual arts, film, literature, fashion, dance, youth and participatory art, architecture and e-culture.

After the presentation there will be opportunity for networking.

Free entrance, reservation is required. Reserve your ticket here.
