How is health related to lifestyle? Following the release of the new book Organisch by Giulia Enders, we will talk with her, Teun van de Keuken, and Inge van der Wurff about healthy living: what it is, and why it often proves so difficult.

How do our lungs, muscles, skin, and immune system work? That is what the German physician and author Giulia Enders explores in her latest book Organisch. She shows how interconnected  our inner organs are with the outer world we live in – and how big their influence is on our mental state and wellbeing.

Tonight we will discuss the relationship between (mental) health and lifestyle. In broad strokes, we know quite well what is healthy: getting enough exercise, eating nutritious food, sleeping regularly. So why is it so often hard to actually live by that? And to what extent is our health our own individual responsibility in a world where bad habits are stimulated and unhealthy food is unavoidable?
