What do you do with this precious, fragile life—one that can bring both joy and profound sorrow? Filmmaker Diego Gutiérrez returns to Mexico, driven by a search for meaning and resilience in a world shaped by loss, loneliness, and uncertainty.

In his film, he follows people who each grapple with these existential questions in their own way: a farmer returning to his father’s land, an open-minded young man who leaves behind his conventional upbringing to find purpose in a simple, natural life, young biologists discovering their love for each other and for nature, and a restorer dedicated to preserving old churches and sacred statues. Through their stories, the film reveals how people find comfort and direction, while its visual language subtly evokes a longing for healing and responsibility.

Set against breathtaking landscapes of deserts, jungles, and mountains, a poetic and philosophical group portrait unfolds—inviting reflection on resilience, connection, and the search for meaning. A film about finding balance between purpose and the uncertainty that runs through every life.
