
The Winning Generation is a documentary filmed over 12 years, following Shahen Harutyunyan from a 14-year-old activist to a rising political leader. Carrying the legacy of his father’s and grandfather’s fight for Armenian independence, he reshapes their resistance into a new, democratic vision, countering Russian influence and forging his own path. In June 2026, he will take part in the national elections with his own party, marking a first step towards change led by a new generation.
The screening is followed by a conversation on the topic of Armenian elections on 7th of June 2026.
