The conflict between Israel and Palestine seems to have lasted forever, and an end is nowhere in sight. In her documentary The Tinderbox, filmmaker Gillian Mosely goes back to the origin of the conflict in an attempt to start a constructive dialogue.

The film looks back in time to the internationally supported British mandate on Palestine to better understand the origins of the current situation. From there, Mosley tries to escape the echo pit that is the discussion about the conflift. After the film screening, there will be a talk with the director Gillian Mosely and other experts about the documentary, and the occupation in its historical context.
